Job Summary
- Service has been approved for the Early Childhood Worker Retention Payment.
- Opportunity to complete Certificate 111 in Early Education and Care as a traineeship.
1 Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
x1 Part-time (0.4 FTE) appointment fixed term to Jan 2027.
Base salary range:
- $58056 $61358 p.a. (pro-rata) 17% super OR
- $60645 $64094 p.a. (pro-rata) 12% super.
Opportunity to work in an Exceeding service.
Flexible rotating rosters.
About the area
UWA Child Care Services provides an Early Learning Centre that offers part-time and full-time care to children aged six weeks to five years.
About the opportunity
- Assist in the supervision and care of children aged 0 to 5 years.
- Participate in the planning implementation and evaluation of the developmental program.
- Interact positively and appropriately with children and implement routines which enhance well-being.
About you
- Hold or be actively working towards a Certificate III in Early Education and Care.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012.
- Experience in working in the Education and Care industry and working with children 0 to 5 years.
- Understanding and experience with the Accreditation and Assessment rating process in accordance with the Australia Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) is desirable.
- Awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards and Elements is desirable.
Note: A Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
