Are you looking to take your Electrician career to the next level Within our Electrical Services Complex Works stream we have a vacancy for a Senior Tradesperson.

This role plays a critical part in supporting our Work Group Coordinator to ensure the safe efficient and successful delivery of works for TasNetworks. You will provide infield leadership lead safety and act as a conduit between team members and Work Group Coordinators and coordinate the daily activities of team members.

As a Senior Tradesperson within the Complex Works stream you will be responsible for overseeing the complex works which is predominately around the Hobart CBD in our building type substations.
The work involves HV & LV switchgear upgrades and transformer replacements with protection systems.

About you

The successful candidate will be a qualified Electrician and hold a current Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence. A qualification in Cable Jointing would be advantageous as would a Certificate IV in Project Management which would set you up to hit the ground running on the depth of the complex work.

You will have proven experience as an infield leader in the construction and maintenance of the underground distribution network. This coupled with your ability to coordinate internal and external resources to achieve the desired delivery outcomes will see you succeed in this role.

Our preferred candidate will have proven experience in a complex working environment.
