As the SEC Reporting Sr. Accounting you will actively participate in the preparation of SEC filings including 10-Qs 10-Ks Earnings Releases Proxy 8-Ks and the execution of XBRL within the respective filings.
What Youll Bring:
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience at a Big 4 or Major National firm serving public clients or experience with SEC reporting at a public company
- Experience with US GAAP disclosure requirements and SEC reporting requirements
- Exposure to technical accounting research
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of Excel
Were also looking for the preferred skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up were happy to support your development in:
- Experience with financial reporting tools (i.e. Workiva) and XBRL tagging are preferred
- CPA
Impact Youll Make:
- Prepare 10-Q 10-K and Proxy filings and Earnings Release 8-Ks evaluate disclosure requirements and execute XBRL on required filings
- Take ownership of sections of the external financial reporting process and related S-Ox 404 controls
- Work closely with external auditors
- Complete other quarterly and annual reporting
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos
- Assist in writing reviewing and implementing new accounting policies
- Confidence to work independently and multi-task multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Strength in communicating effectively and efficiently with business partners to collaborate on financial statement preparation and external reporting

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $82700.00 - $120000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience job-related skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan.
