At the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment & Water (DCCEEW) we are seeking a skilled and strategic Principal Data Engineer to lead the design development and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions.
About the role
As a Principal Data Engineer you will transform complex data so the insights analysis and science can happen so DCCEEW can make the right strategic decisions drive operational efficiency and continually improve.
You will take full ownership of modern scalable data pipelines and platforms ensuring they are high-performing reliable secure and aligned with enterprise standards. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders you will translate business needs into robust data solutions while embedding best practices in data engineering architecture and governance.

Who we are
DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
