What are we looking for
Tutors with extensive 1:1 tutoring experience in SSAT and/or ISEE (Both preferred)
You have at least 10 hours of availability to tutor each week
Educational expertise ideally for students aged 11-14. Sometimes younger.
Youre passionate about education and enjoy teaching - ideally youve even got some experience tutoring students already!
Youre detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
Youve got fantastic verbal and written communication skills. Engaging enthusiastic and approachable.
Candidates must hold a bachelors degree from a top 30 U.S. university or Global equivalent. Current masters students are also encouraged to apply with a strong preference for Ivy League alumni / top 20 universities.
This role is for hourly contractors and not HT/FT.
What are the main responsibilities for this role
Working closely with a variety of students based across the world - including the US Asia Australia and Europe.
Conducting formal tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
Using curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to Crimson students in a particular subject
Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
