Job Description
Westlake TX (100% Onsite)
Contract
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer with extensive experience in performance tuning of Oracle PL/SQL packages procedures and queries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing complex Oracle-based solutions to support high-volume enterprise applications. This role requires deep knowledge of Oracle architecture and hands-on expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages procedures functions and triggers.
Perform advanced performance tuning of PL/SQL code queries and database structures.
Analyze and refactor poorly performing database code and provide recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with DBAs application developers and system architects to implement best practices for performance and scalability.
Utilize tools like AWR ASH SQL Trace and SQL Plan Baselines to monitor and enhance performance.
Hands on with Informatica ETL work flows
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
10 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
5 years of experience in Informatica ETL work flows
Deep expertise in performance tuning Oracle packages and SQL queries (Oracle 12c/19c/21c).
Strong understanding of Oracle internals execution plans indexing partitioning and optimizer behavior.
Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL Developer TOAD AWR ASH TKPROF SQL Trace and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
Experience with performance tuning in cloud-based Oracle environments
