Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Engineering Manager with a strong background in Python programming cloud infrastructure and DevOps. The ideal candidate will lead a talented engineering team oversee the development of scalable data platforms and drive innovation in our technology stack. Prior domain knowledge is a plus but can be developed through training - experience in Risk Tech Equities Capital Markets Fixed Income Trading or Regulatory environments is preferred.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of software engineers fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Architect develop and maintain robust scalable data platforms and applications leveraging Python AWS Kubernetes EC2 and DevOps best practices.
- Drive automation CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security compliance and best practices in cloud and data platform management.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends integrating relevant innovations into the teams workflow.
- Assist in resource planning project management and technical decision-making.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services especially EC2 and experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading mentoring and managing engineering teams.
- Data Platforms: Extensive knowledge of data platform architecture data pipelines and big data concepts.
- Domain Knowledge: Highly desired familiarity with Risk Tech Equities Capital Markets Fixed Income Trading or Regulatory environments. Training support can be provided if missing.
