Job Description
- T-SQL stored procedures triggers views.
- SSIS BCP and other data migration tools.
- Query optimization and execution plan analysis.
Lead the database migration effort ensuring a like-to-like transition from Sybase to SQL Server with a focus on performance scalability and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute migration scripts and stored procedures.
- Optimize SQL Server schema indexing and partitioning.
- Validate data integrity and performance post-migration.
- Collaborate with application and ETL teams for seamless integration.
- Document database changes and support production cutover
- 8 years in SQL development and database administration.
- Hands-on experience with Sybase ASE and SQL Server.
