Job Title: Business Analyst (SDLC UX Wireframing Process Re-engineering Education Domain)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications - Proven experience eliciting requirements through customer interviews and producing clear well-written system requirements.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs).
- Expertise in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvements.
- Ability to develop user stories and use cases following business analysis best practices.
- Proficiency in creating mockups and/or wireframes aligned with UX best practices.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong writing and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with requirements management software such as Modern Requirements.
- Familiarity with issue tracking software such as Atlassian Jira.
- Previous work with TEA or other state/local education agencies.
- Knowledge of Teacher Incentive Allotment programs federal/state grant programs or student outcome data.
Responsibilities - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders through interviews workshops and documentation reviews.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications user stories and process flows.
- Recommend process improvements and re-engineering initiatives to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Create wireframes prototypes and design documents in alignment with UX best practices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams project managers and business units to ensure requirements are met.
- Facilitate meetings conduct presentations and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation in requirements and issue-tracking systems for traceability and compliance.
