Senior Solutions Architect / Engineering Lead AWS Migration
Location (Onsite): Fort Worth TX (5 days from office)
Whats in it for you:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Solutions Architect / Engineering Lead to lead complex application migration projects to AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack Java development cloud architecture and microservices with proven leadership in guiding engineering teams and engaging with senior client stakeholders.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with senior client stakeholders to drive discussions on execution planning and risk mitigation.
Work closely with the product team to understand existing application needs and translate them to the technical team for smooth migration.
Collaborate with client architecture and DevOps teams to ensure the right environment processes and AWS best practices are in place.
Lead architecture design solutioning and estimation for large-scale AWS migration projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore development teams.
Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Cloud & Migration Expertise:
Deep understanding of application and data migration strategies to AWS.
Experience with AWS services including IAM EC2 RDS (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and S3.
Full Stack Development:
Strong hands-on experience with Java (Full Stack) Spring Boot Spring Cloud.
Proficiency in SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control systems.
Experience with JUnit Mockito and other testing frameworks.
Microservices & Containerization:
Solid knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Understanding of caching and messaging queues.
Leadership & Communication:
Proven ability to lead engineering teams and mentor developers.
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Methodologies & Compliance:
Experience with Agile/Iterative SDLC methodologies.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable
