The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.

Job Description
The Technologist under the direction of a Radiologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This requires independent judgment ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation via radiopharmaceuticals for radiologic diagnosis whether scheduled or emergent while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. He/she will participate in the clinical activities including call within Nuclear Medicine and PET.

Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent educ/experience
National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire. Or
National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Experience with established procedures and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Specific to the handling of FDG and operation of PET scanner.
