Job Description

Hiring Telemetry Nurses for various locations within the LA County Orange County and the Inland Empire County and San Diego County

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with the physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including cardiac monitoring results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Current and valid state RN License.
  2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  6. Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

We pay for BLS ACLS certifications after 3 months of employment
Emergency room nurses are expected to perform the following duties:
Assess and triage incoming patients based on illness or injury severity
Monitor vital signs and document findings in the electronic health record (EHR)
Perform diagnostic tests and assist with bedside procedures to stabilize critically ill patients
Administer life-sustaining medications resuscitative IV fluids and blood products
Collaborate with the emergency room multidisciplinary team to establish treatment goals and develop care plans.
Compensation and Schedule
Our ER nurse salary starts at $29540 pr 13 weeks
3 scheduled 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p) per week
Bi-weekly pay periods
Emergency Room Nurse Qualifications and Skills Required Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license
ADN required BSN or MSN preferred
BLS ACLS and PALS certified
2 years of experience working in an emergency or intensive care setting
