Description

The VOR Master Service Agreement which expires on April 5 2026 leaves some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 2025-26. If the current statement of work expires March 31 2026 the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31 2026 based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5 2026 and be upon the same terms conditions covenants contained in the SOW.

NOTE: This position is currently listed as Onsite; however the Assignment under this request will provisionally be Hybrid working 7.25 hours per calendar day sometime between 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Managers requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

Scope:

The Corrections Systems Portfolio requires a temporary Programmer/Developer (L3) with 10 years experience for the design coding and unit testing of enhancements and for troubleshooting and break/fix solutions support for a number of system in the portfolio. The successful proponent will be responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into working tested applications.

Deliverables:

To Integrate the LSI-OR (Level of Service Inventory-Ontario Revision) RASO (Risk Assessment for Sexual Offending) and ODARA (Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment) tools into one platform with connectivity to Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS).

The risk assessments on the platform would be programmed to enable the appropriate assessment(s) to be accessed based on offender information in OTIS.

Develop an integrated risk assessment platform with connectivity to OTIS to support a people-centred innovative and inclusive correctional system

The successful proponent will be responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into working tested applications. This includes using cloud technologies Microsoft . C#/MVC Entity Framework ReactJS HTMLS/CS/JavaScript Azure DevOps; Azure Web Apps; Azure Functions; Azure Logic Apps; and designing building modelling and configuring database management systems (using Azure SQL Database (Pass) SQL Server). As a candidate:

You have ability to design build and maintain stable secure and scalable web applications.

You have senior application development experience in cloud technologies using Microsoft . With demonstrated experience in C#/MVC Entity Framework ReactJS HTMLS/CS/JavaScript.

You have experience working in Azure DevOps.

You have experience working in Azure Web Apps.

Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge to be Transferred:

(at the end of the contract) Knowledge transfer to the FTE to be completed prior to the end of the assignment.

Knowledge to be Transferred to: The FTE will meet weekly with the consultant to facilitate the knowledge transfer.

All aspect of design documentation and code related to this project will be transferred to the FTE.

Details of Transfer:

(how transfer will occur) All code and related documentation will be stored in the JTS TFS for retrieval.

The FTE will also ensure the consultant is checking-in proper version of the code and the related documents into the repository.
