Job Description
About the Role:
A well-established automotive group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial operations in Middelburg. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced customer-focused environment with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities.
- Liaise with auditors banks and other financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial input to support business decisions.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and accuracy.
Requirements
Key Requirements Include:
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance or related field (BCom or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial management role preferably in a supervisory or management role in the Automotive Industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting software (e.g. Automate Kerridge or similar).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver s license and own transport.
