Job Description

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and value-added services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With over 1.1 million-square-feet sales and services facilities in the United States Canada Australia Singapore Brazil PAGs 27 locations and customer-focused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.

JOB PURPOSE

The Q.C. Administrator reviews edits and maintains all documentation related to employee training and FAA/EASA documentation/manuals. This includes scheduling and oversight of employee training updates to all FAA/EASA related manuals and the appropriate filing of all FAA/EASA Documents. Additionally the Q.C. Administrator will serve as backup to the Q.C. Inspector monitoring operations repair work for safety FAA compliance and proper workmanship.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:

  • Updates and maintains Employee Training Matrix
  • Creates updates and files all training certifications
  • Maintains Manual Revision Updates
  • Keeps FAA filing system up to date
  • Provides administrative support to Q.A. and Process Development Managers
  • Provides FAA administrative support to Repair Station manager

Marginal Job Functions:

    • Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
    • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with equipment.

Work Location: Burbank California facility.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of information; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy; ability to read write and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction; multi-tasking a necessity; thorough knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; ability to type with accuracy and speed; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive concerned image to the public; ability to work without supervision; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities.

Education/Training: High school diploma

Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in office administration or related field preferred
