Job Summary
Indevia is looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable Senior Systems Engineer to support and maintain core IT operations. The role will focus on maintaining the cloud infrastructure managing the internal IT ticketing tool overseeing the EDR cloud server setting up desktops for new joiners procurement and maintaining ISO 27001 documentation and SOPs. The profile will work under the direct supervision of the SVP IT. This role also includes occasional remote site tasks such as delivering and configuring systems at end-user homes or remote locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS-based).
- Administer and support the internal IT ticketing system (Zoho Desk or similar).
- Manage and maintain Seqrite or EDR cloud-based antivirus server.
- Provision configure and install desktop systems for new joiners.
- Maintain IT hardware/software inventory records and track asset allocation.
- Ensure documentation of IT policies SOPs and system configurations is up to date.
- Assist in the upkeep and organization of ISO 27001 compliance documents.
- Perform field support tasks including desktop delivery and installation at remote locations.
- Coordinate with internal teams for process updates and infrastructure support.
- Report all IT operations updates and incidents directly to the SVP - IT.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience with endpoint protection platforms such as Seqrite.
- Hands-on knowledge of desktop setup OS configuration and endpoint security.
- Working knowledge of ticketing tools and ITIL practices is mandatory.
- Good documentation habits and process adherence.
- Ability to work independently and manage routine infrastructure tasks.
- Willingness to perform field visits and remote support activities.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ITIL Foundation Certification (mandatory).
- Microsoft Certified: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or higher.
- CompTIA A or equivalent desktop support certification.
- CCNA
Qualifications and Skills: Must-Have: 4+ years of experience in RPA development, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or HR automation Expert-level proficiency in: Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows), MS Access, MS SQL Server, Power Query, Power BI, Software APIs and integration techniques, VBA (Excel automation), Python scripting, Developing cloud-based applications. Experience with Microsoft AI Builder and other AI tools Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent (Accounting background is a plus) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Work Requirements: Ability to lead a small team and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to work beyond regular hours and on weekends if required. Flexibility to align with US-based client schedules.
