About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the vision strategy and execution of our product initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Fintech space including engineering design marketing and sales to define product requirements prioritize the backlog and ensure successful product delivery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills a customer-centric mindset and expertise in Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Strategy & Road mapping
Define and communicate the product vision strategy and roadmap aligned with
business goals.
Conduct market research competitive analysis and customer feedback to identify
opportunities.
Develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
Requirements & Backlog Management
Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear user stories
acceptance criteria and product requirements.
Prioritize and maintain the product backlog based on business value customer
impact and technical feasibility.
Work closely with engineering and UX teams to ensure alignment on technical
solution design wireframing and prototyping. Agile & Delivery Leadership
Serve as the key stakeholder in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies (sprint planning reviews retrospectives).
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features while managing dependencies and risks.
Continuously refine processes to improve Agile methodologies and team efficiency.
Stakeholder & Customer Collaboration
Partner with client services sales and marketing to gather insights and ensure
product-market fit.
Advocate for user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) best practices.
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve product-related issues and improve
performance.
Performance & Analytics
Define and track key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success and drive data
driven decisions.
Leverage data analysis to refine product strategy and optimize features.
Manage product costing and ROI assessments to ensure financial viability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 years of experience in product management technical product ownership or
related roles.
Preferably from Cards and Payments background
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) and tools (Jira Trello).
Proven ability in product road mapping requirements gathering and backlog
prioritization.
Experience with B2B products fintech APIs or technical solution design is a plus.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with wireframing prototyping and UX principles.
Knowledge of market research competitive analysis and go-to-market strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial technology (fintech) or related industries.
Background in operations management team leadership or strategy development.
Certification in Agile (CSPO SAFe) or Product Management (Pragmatic Institute).
