Job Description

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems and components in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Fabricate electrical panels to specifications based on the engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
- Perform conduit bending panel terminations and device installations with a high level of accuracy.
- Install electrical panels circuits and devices ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Ability to think on the fly and make necessary adjustments during installations to ensure quality work.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems and malfunctions.
- Perform regular electrical maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members and production management team from several departments.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices.
Position Requirements:
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience as an electrician
- Journeyman certification in electrical work
- Experience leading a crew of less experienced tradesmen
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards including the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Strong mathematical skills including the ability to perform calculations and measurements for conduit with precision
- Mandatory familiarity with essential safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) utilization
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
