This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Part Time -25h per week - Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM pacific time.
- Client Time zone: Los Angeles (PST/PDT)

Job Description:
We re looking for a talented CAD designer to join our expanding design team and help accelerate our custom cabinet design capabilities. You ll create technical shop drawings and stunning photorealistic renderings that directly impact client satisfaction and manufacturing precision. This role offers exciting growth potential the opportunity to learn company-specific design standards and potential collaboration with international manufacturing partners to ensure seamless production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed cabinet shop drawings using professional CAD software
- Produce high-quality photorealistic renderings of custom cabinet designs
- Learn and implement company-specific design standards and processes
- Collaborate with international manufacturing partners to understand production requirements
- Support the growing design team to accelerate project turnaround times
- Contribute to client satisfaction through accurate detailed technical drawings
- Adapt designs based on manufacturing feedback and client requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional CAD design experience
- Proficiency in cabinet design software (SketchUp 20 20 Design or similar)
- Experience with photorealistic rendering software (Revit 3DS Max Studio preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous CAD work and rendering capabilities
- Ability to learn new design standards and adapt to company processes
- Excellent communication skills for international team collaboration
- Cabinet industry experience preferred but not required
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in remote environment
