Our client a leading Land Rover specialist workshop in Brisbane is seeking a Automotive Support Assistant. Known for tackling the most challenging Land Rover cases in Australia they use cutting-edge equipment and work closely with local dealerships.
In this role you ll be the first point of contact for customers managing calls scheduling appointments and assisting with parts interpreting and quotes. You ll work closely with mechanics to identify needed components and keep customers updated on their vehicle s progress.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage customer calls capturing key vehicle issue details
Schedule appointments and update customers via MechanicDesk CRM
Track job progress and notify customers for approvals or pickups
Interpret mechanic reports to identify needed parts
Prepare accurate service and parts quotes
Handle peak call times and transfer complex inquiries to management
Requirements
Solid knowledge of automotive systems and components
Reception or customer service experience (automotive preferred)
Interest in cars and automotive culture
Ability to learn CRM and phone systems quickly
Strong communication skills especially with frustrated customers
Willingness to learn parts interpreting and quoting
