Job Description
To keep our stores and customers thriving were looking for motivated and reliable team players to join our Locals Teamthe crucial crew who handle local stock deliveries as they come in the door.
As part of the Inwards Locals Team youll be at the frontline of processing incoming local stockensuring its unloaded checked receipted and ready to go. This role offers a variety of hands-on tasks in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
What youll be doing:
- Unpacking cartons (1kg30kg)
- Scanning and sorting stock by barcode
- Using RF scanners to track items
- Assisting with closing labelling and prepping stock for the floor
- Operating pallet jacks box cutters and strapping machines
- Bulk picking and managing stock locations
- Adapting to changing priorities throughout the day
This is a fixed term position until Mid January 2026.
Monday Friday 6:00am 2:30pm
$30.28/hr
Please note: This role is to support our Peak Period through to January 2026. As it is our busiest time of the year we are unlikely to be able to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note we do not work public holidays).
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Are physically fit and comfortable on your feet all day
- Can lift and handle stock with care and accuracy
- Have great attention to detail and strong time management
- Enjoy solving problems and working in a fast-moving environment
- Can communicate clearly and work well both independently and in a team
- Have previous warehouse/distribution experience (helpful but not essential!)
To be considered for this role you must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
