Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives that shape decision-making across our organization. This pivotal role will involve analyzing complex datasets developing actionable insights and working cross-functionally to enhance business performance drive growth and support strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis
- Analyze business performance data and deliver insights to support strategic initiatives.
- Interpret data trends to inform forecasting pricing customer behavior analysis and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage SQL queries data pipelines and ETL processes to extract and clean data from multiple sources.
- Generate accurate and timely sales reports (daily fortnightly and monthly) including sales out stock values and stock movements.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of business metrics across all reports and analyses.
Reporting & Visualization
- Create and maintain dashboards reports and visualizations using tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence documentation training materials and best practice guidelines to support organizational data literacy.
Strategic Communication & Leadership
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear actionable manner.
- Mentor junior analysts and support process improvements and standardization of analytics across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure analytical solutions meet strategic goals.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements based on data insights.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Data Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence and performance reporting.
- Proven ability to transform large datasets into actionable insights develop commercial analysis reports and design KPI dashboards.
- Proficient in SQL Power BI Python Tableau (R is an added advantage).
- Strong background in business case formulation forecasting and regulatory reporting.
- Experience with database management (Microsoft SQL Server MySQL) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics ERP SAP).
- Skilled in statistical modelling (regression analysis hypothesis testing) and KPI tracking.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into clear business insights.
Degree in Agricultural science, development, education or related field, Masters degree is an added advantage. Is curious with a genuine interest in the industry issues and policy challenges such as sustainability, modern agriculture, pesticide policy challenges. 2+ Years experience working with small farmers. Knowledge in crop protection is desirable. He/she is a self-starter able to motivate others; is diligent, persistent and committed. Has a proven ability to work in a team-oriented proactive way and to drive groups to alignment. Has excellent networking, communication and presentation skills. He/she is open-minded and able to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.

Bachelors in statistics,agriculture or related field.
