Job Description
Role and responsibilities
- Establish good coordination and communication with Customer Onsite and Offshore teams
- Actively involve in the primary responsibilities that include but not limited to:
- Develop and thoroughly unit-test the front-end and back-end applications
- Take architectural decisions and design scalable systems
- Continuously identify ways of enhancing and improving the existing applications
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices such as efficiency testability readability maintainability and style guide compliance
- Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity Devops automation Security vulnerability remediation etc.) to achieve the project goals
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members while assigning and tracking the tasks for closure without any schedule quality and cost slippages
- Collaborate with backend QA UI/UX and business teams to ensure seamless application integration and performance.
- Enforce best practices for browser compatibility code reusability localization (Japanese/English) and front-end security
- Integrate APIs and backend services to support dynamic insurance data calculations and transactions.
- Participate in code reviews technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Must
- 5-10 years of experience in IT industry
- Experience in technologies including Typescript/JavaScript HTML/CSS NodeJS React Angular NextJS Express/Fastify MySQL
- Business level Japanese (N2 or above) and English skill
Nice to have
- Exposure on AWS Cloud Agile methodology DevOps Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs design and Swagger/Open API specification
