Job Description
Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Department: Technical Services
Reports To: Service & Maintenance Manager
Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support service and maintenance operations for electronic security systems across our client sites in the APAC region. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting system monitoring and support for access control and surveillance systems to ensure reliability uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security systems at client sites.
- Monitor system health through alarm logs and analytics and resolve issues proactively.
- Support installation firmware upgrades and system enhancements under the guidance of the global technical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities system configurations and asset inventories.
- Assist in handling service requests and track issue resolution timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and service support.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules safety standards and company policies.
- Support budgeting and inventory planning with the maintenance manager and finance team.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2 4 years of experience in maintaining electronic security systems such as access control CCTV or intrusion detection.
- Familiarity with Lenel or similar access control platforms is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to sensitive security systems and data; confidentiality required.
- Regular use of laptops and mobile devices; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites across the APAC region.
