Data Ingress serves as a critical input into CGA by NIQ world-class product suite which we are on track to roll out into the biggest On-premises markets worldwide. The Data Ingress Team ingests data from external third parties via an established process designed to drive efficiency for the ingestion of data into the business. This data is used to supplement and inform our services where it is processed to generate market intelligence and insight. The DISS will have the opportunity to work with internal and external clients honing project management and stakeholder management skills as well as developing knowledge by learning about a range of data sources and data collection techniques securing data to inform and strengthen CGA by NIQs product suite.
They will also work with colleagues who will help them to develop their career and grow their skill sets whilst driving the Departments vision of ingesting data in the most efficient DISS will collaborate with experienced team members contributing to the continuing growth of the CGA NIQ international program. They will be trained to use a powerful toolkit developing their careers whilst offering excellent external & internal customer service to external clients and multi-departmental internal project teams driving the data that supports CGA NIQ products.

- Updates the Global Data Ingress Tracker and any other standard reporting; ensures reporting is functioning as intended.
- Troubleshoots and logs issues as per defined processes liaising effectively with the relevant support team to facilitate resolution.
- Works on the resolution of more complex queries & issues maintaining clarity and order in related tasks and correspondence.
- Plays a supporting role in projects to assess develop & pilot new tools and technologies that may facilitate increased Data Ingestion data flow into the business.
- Data Ingestion - informs the business of process changes to ensure business continuity and supports in the management of this.
- Supports the implementation of process efficiencies & supports in the continuous development of the Data Ingress toolkit.
- Maintains up-to-date documentation related to ways of working & processes.
Knowledge
- Is an expert on existing Data Ingress tools and processes and can provide effective support to internal/external clients of the Data ingestion process.
- Absorbs new information and applies it effectively as well as documenting these learnings for future training.
- Maintains and updates knowledge on process parameters and shares updates with the wider business.
- Understands the Department strategy the Departments context in the business and understands their role in the strategys success.
- Completes NIQ MyAcademy Project Management Module
- Completes NIQ MyAcademy Future Manager module
- Completes NIQ MyAcademy Excel basics & Excel Advanced
- Utilises Excel to the required standard and can manipulate data in different tools.
