Location: CV23 Area
Hourly Rate: 21.50 holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Thursday; 9pm 7am
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer in the CV23 area to find a talented CNC Grinding Technician for a 6-month contract.

CNC Grinder responsibilities:

As a CNC Grinding Technician your focus will be on the accurate grinding of critical components to tight tolerances. Youll play a key part in quality delivery efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines (cylindrical or surface)
• Perform precision grinding on high-spec metal components
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Carry out in-process and final inspections using micrometres verniers and gauges
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor
• Record measurements and production data accurately
• Work independently to resolve minor tooling and setup issues

CNC Grinder Experience:

Were looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a passion for precision:

• Proven CNC grinding experience (cylindrical or surface)
• Confident with inspection tools (micrometres gauges CMM desirable)
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and deadlines
• Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Good computer skills (basic data entry and MS Office familiarity)
• GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C or above)
• Ideally time-served or with hands-on experience in an engineering setting
