Job Description

Summary:

Reporting to the senior IT Director for Enterprise Programs this position will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the CPQ program taking place at Flowserve. This includes the delivery of highly complex projects that span multiple organizations various stakeholders as well as partners.

This senior leader will lead a team of CPQ (project) managers developers architects analysts and interface with the global functional and platforms leaders to assure the process/system is optimized to meet Flowserves needs efficiently driving the companys innovation and including the assurance of compliance to the different policies and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess Flowserves current state and work collaboratively to drive excellence in CPQ processes systems and performance.

  • Build a World Class CPQ team. Influence within the organization to ensure high level goals and objectives are being met.

  • Execute against a multi-year roadmap of implementations process/system improvements.

  • Demonstrate the ability to balance longer term strategic thinking against more tactical execution of shorter-term deliverables.

  • Develop and coach key talent. Lead by example and display Flowserves Leadership Values.

  • Embrace and thrive in a fast-paced complex environment.

  • Establish a strong foundation of standards protocols and best practices.

  • Define communication and development plans for the adoption of best practices.

  • Provide technical guidance on approaches for novel technology effectiveness visualization of performance metrics and analytical / functional testing.

  • Stay current with current industry trends and technologies to move and keep Flowserve at the forefront within the CPQ space.

  • Support the delivery of a strong OCM program to drive adoption and success

  • In conjunction with company stakeholders develop and assure proper development and execution of CPQ master plans and performance metrics at all Flowserve locations.

  • Lead develop engage and mentor the organization in support of CPQ processes undergoing change and innovation within a dynamic growing organization.

  • Responsible for budgeting and coordinating the company-wide requirements to assure a compliant efficient and effective system.

  • Assure compliance to meet global and local regulations and policies.

  • Serve as the company overall SME for CPQ.

  • Work with IT OCM team to lead all aspects of Organizational Change Management as the new system and processes are introduced.

  • Consult with the technical experts and relevant stakeholders to incorporate comprehensive risk-based approach to CPQ processes including business and compliance risks.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree in a relevant field with 8 years of related experience.

  • Expert-level proficiency in core CPQ systems such as Oracle CPQ.

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven experience with Agile project methodology.

  • ITIL process knowledge specifically in change management and configuration management.

  • Demonstrated success in managing multicultural global teams within a matrix organization.

  • Strong background in professional and organizational development.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with excellent analytical interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly collaborative team player; responsive organized and detail-oriented.

  • Fluent in English with exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting and delivering high-quality problem resolution.

  • Ability to work on a hybrid mode from our corporate office in Irving TX.

  • Available to travel between 15% and 25% of the time mostly within the US.

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Working experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
