Job Description
Shulman Rogers is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Creditors Rights and Bankruptcy department. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of creditor side foreclosure litigation and bankruptcy experience including in both state and federal courts. This position is located in the firms Potomac MD office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all first draft pleadings motions briefs and other legal documents.
- Manage organize and oversee all aspects of pending foreclosure and bankruptcy matters in DC Maryland and Virginia.
- Argue motions plan confirmations and evidentiary hearings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the MD state bar (DC and VA a plus) and in good standing.
- Minimum of four years litigation experience.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
