Role: Senior Consultant- Business Service Control

Location: Pune/Bangalore

Job Type: Full-time

Total work experience: 10 years

Shift: 3.30pm to 12.30am IST**

** Partner should be flexible to work NA/APAC hours to support assigned projects.

Summary

The SeniorConsultant is responsible for working withControl partners & practicemanagersto activelyand effectively execute control best practices andadvise on risk avoidance and control enhancements. Regular activities to be defined and executed by the Senior Consultant include a risk-based control review in-depth analysis of process & controls to assess control design and execution effectiveness and to identify control gaps & enhancement opportunities.

Major Duties

  • Test the practice area processes controlsand operating practicesin line with the 1LOD Testing recommendations to strengthen control and communicate test findings within the testing timelines outlined by Control Manager.
  • Test the practice area to review whether specificpolicies andensureprocedures are in place andalign toorganizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Test the practice area to review whether Operational Loss remediation implemented addresses the defined risk.
  • Participate in Audit Remediation and regulatory testing when required.
  • Escalate risk and control related matters to theControl Manager.
  • Participate in controlprojectdeliverables as assignedto implementenhancedcontrolsand efficiency enhancements.

Knowledge/Skills

  • 24 months as Consultant
  • Professional with extensive business experience multi-disciplinary functional experience with a focus on proactive and consultative audit and control support.
  • Financial services experience preferred. Understanding of RCSA ATP REMs CASS & others.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change and ability to work in high paced environment.
  • 5 years of control testing audit or operations experience preferred.
  • Project management skills.
  • Office Teams Excel Word and PowerPoint experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
