Class Summary



Job Description
The IT Associate II will be responsible for managing and maintaining software systems to ensure optimal performance availability and security. This will coordinate system configuration upgrades and integrations with internal departments and external vendors. They will be responsible for developing and implementing workflows data standards and automations that enhance operational efficiency and reporting addition they will serve as a technical liaison between departmental business units and the IT department translating business needs into functional system solutions.

Essential Duties
  • Ensuring data integrity and security standards are followed across all supported systems
  • Documenting system changes configurations and processes to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Tracking and reporting system performance metrics uptime and issue resolution timeliness
  • Owning and following through on issue escalation ensuring timely and effective problem resolution
  • Developing inclusive system configurations that meet the operational needs of all user groups regardless of department size or access level
  • Supporting system access reviews and audits to ensure fair and appropriate user permissions
  • Providing system training and support to diverse user groups with varying technical skill levels
  • Gathering feedback from a broad range of users to improve system usability and accessibility
  • Researching and recommending emerging tools features or enhancements to improve department workflows
  • Leading pilot programs or proof-of-concept initiatives to test and evaluate new technologies or system upgrades
Public Speaking Duties
  • Participating in section meetings
  • Participating in safety committee meetings
  • Participating in park staff meetings
Grade
The grade for this position is B23(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D AND
  • Two years of experience as an Information Technology Technician or comparable level
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
  • Valid Drivers License
