Community Outreach Nurse (LPNRN) General Description
The Community Outreach Nurse (LPNRN)will assist in the coordination of various outreach services events and staff including but not limited to nurse-led clinics provider integrated health services pediatric and adult immunization clinics education classes community health events medical/first aid response teams at events and mobile health public relations events.

Community Outreach Nurse (LPNRN) Essential Duties
- Assist with the day-to-day outreach department operations including vaccine administration events medical mobile unit clinics health education etc.
- Establish build and maintain professional relationships with external community partners and internal groups in order to collaborate outreach services.
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing outreach supplies (including medications mobile unit supplies medical supplies instruments marketing materials donations etc.)
- Participate in SFHC and external partner meetings and committees as required or needed.
- Perform as a clinical nurse.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Community Outreach Nurse (LPNRN) Skills Required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff patients and the public.
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Must exhibit professional demeanor by being helpful courteous and efficient.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to provide appropriate efficient and quality patient care.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks work under pressure and prioritize workload.
- Effective and efficient time management.
- Ability to work outside business operational hours as needed.
Community Outreach Nurse (LPNRN) Education and Experience Required
- High school diploma;
- Valid LPN or RN Kansas nursing license;
- Must have and maintain minimally a BLS certification;
- Proof of valid Kansas Drivers License and auto insurance;
- 1-3 years previous nursing experience preferred;
- Social and cultural sensitivity appropriate to ethnically and economically diverse patient and employee-base.
