As a Float Direct Support Professional (DSP) youll be a versatile go-to team member stepping in across different locations to provide hands-on support encouragement and advocacy. No two days are the same - one day you might be helping someone master a new skill and the next making a community outing possible.
What Youll Do
Support daily living skills - from self-care and communication to social and recreational activities.
Encourage independence confidence and self-advocacy.
Assist with nutritious meal prep medication administration and health monitoring.
Promote positive behaviors and a safe respectful environment.
Build meaningful relationships with the people you support and their networks.
Maintain accurate records and follow all OPWDD and agency guidelines.

Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities is a plus - but compassion patience and reliability are essential.
Ability to follow individualized support plans and adapt to changing needs.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to respect and inclusion.
Must meet Lifetime Assistances vehicle operator requirements if driving is part of your duties.
Ability to pass required background checks.
The Details
Full-time role with flexible scheduling - may include evenings weekends or holidays.
Physical activity required (lifting up to 35 lbs. assisting with mobility).
Travel between program sites and in the community as needed.
