The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior / Manager Supply Chain Business Transformation. You will work with some of the highest-performing teams in the industry deliver exceptional client service and develop your skill set while collaborating with outstanding professionals. If youre looking for a dynamic environment that supports manufacturing strategy cost optimization contract manufacturing operational performance and broader business transformation this could be the role for you.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior / Manager at EY you will contribute to the Supply Chain & Operations team by leading engagements supporting practice development and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities include:

Engagement Management:

  • Develop procurement solutions and guide client strategy with expert-level knowledge of e-procurement and broader digital procurement technologies.
  • Lead the design implementation and deployment of business transformation projects for clients.
  • Provide functional expertise across all phases of technology implementation including requirements gathering design build testing and change management.
  • Support project leadership in business development and market growth initiatives.
  • Manage project financials including budgeting resource planning and day-to-day client interactions.

People Development:

  • Foster the development of digital procurement capabilities within EYs Supply Chain practice.
  • Create a positive team environment and provide coaching and support to junior staff.
  • Assist senior leadership with practice development activities such as recruiting and training.

Business Development:

  • Help expand the Business Transformation practice across EY Canada.
  • Collaborate across EY service lines to identify and support business development opportunities.
  • Develop new solutions and innovative ways of working to advance EYs innovation agenda.

Skills and attributes for success

  • An undergraduate degree in Business Management Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 35 years of relevant consulting or industry experience with blue-chip organizations.
  • Functional/technical proficiency in full lifecycle delivery of business transformation projects.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: Category Management Strategic Sourcing Contract Management Supplier Relationship Management or Procure-to-Pay processes.

Ideally youll also have:

  • A high level of motivation strong work ethic and a self-starting attitude.
  • Working knowledge of digital procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba and/or SAP Fieldglass or any other procurement and spend management solutions (Ivalua Coupa Jaggaer etc.)
