Job Summary

The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic test that bounces high-frequency sounds against the heart and translates the echoes as video screen images.

Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound procedures
Maintain ultrasound equipment
Document findings and coordinates results with radiologists
Assist physicians with biopsies and semi-surgical procedures

Requirements:

Associates degree or its equivalent; eligible to take the national exam given by the ARDMS. Must pass within two years of hire.
Current Certification through Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI) or registration through ARDMS strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR certification required.
