Job Description
Intermediate to Senior-level Estimator job in Orange County CA
This is a permanent full-time position offering a great salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Review final HVAC estimates prior to submittal to Chief Estimator for approval
- Attend in preconstruction pre-bid and client meetings
- Perform accurate take-offs of material labor equipment and subcontractor pricing
- Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments as well as external vendors sub-contractors clients engineers and suppliers
- Support and guide Junior Estimators to help them grow within the company
Requirements:
- 7 years experience estimating medium and large commercial HVAC projects
- Strong technical skillset working with Trimble Accubid/Quickpen BlueBeam and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of piping sheet metal ductwork chillers boilers vrv vrf among other hvac materials
- Familiar with CA HVAC Title 24 and OSHPD codes
