JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Follow all safety and EHS policies and procedures
Follow all GE and regulatory requirements
Ability to pass eyesight acuity requirements and color vision perception test
Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) License
Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Outlook Excel Word shop floor applications etc.)
Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload trucks and stage materials in designated areas.
Perform basic visual inspections of incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with processing parts for shipment to OSP.
Prepare packages and shipping documents (e.g. BOL FedEx Shipping Manager) as needed.
Escalate safety concerns and participate in resolving them.
Complete all required training on time (e.g. EHS compliance HR-related job-specific).
Actively participate in daily team meetings/activities and maintain professional communication.
Assist team members with general shipping/receiving tasks as needed.
Ability to work overtime (OT) and flex schedule as needed to meet business needs.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
