Landon seeks substitute teachers for all grades (3-12). The ideal candidate will have substitute-teaching experience and an ability to lead classrooms effectively.
Responsibilities:
Cover for an absent faculty member adhering to the days lesson plan and ensuring students have a fulfilling learning experience.
Provide supervision at all times to ensure the safety of students including during lunchtime and recess.
The expected rate of pay for this position is between $18 - 20 per hour depending on experience. Lunch is provided at no cost.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree is strongly preferred and those interested in beginning a career in teaching are welcome to apply.
- Experience working with children in grades 3-12 preferrable.
- Applicants must have a core appreciation and love for teaching and communicating with students.
