Job Description

Position Summary

  • Position Title: Grants Officer
  • Career Step: Intermediate
  • Reporting Relationship: Head of Strategic Partnerships Research Governance & Operations UK
  • Employment Duration: 2 years (with possibility of extension)
  • Employment Type: Part-time 0.5FTE; Fixed Term
  • Salary: per annum (dependent on experience) / 21000 - 26000 per annum for 0.5FTE
  • Start Date: ASAP

Context of the Role

The Centre for Operational and Research Excellence (CORE) is dedicated to developing and delivering solutions and services that empower the Institutes researchers to achieve high impact and high-quality research response to the Institutes expanding research portfolio and the increasingly complex external environment CORE has undergone a significant restructuring. The new operating model comprises three pillars: a strategic partnering function a design and development of solutions function and a regional research delivery function. The position will be based within the Research Strategy and Services team within CORE.

The Role

The Research Services Grants Officer will provide support across various functional areas in CORE.

The Grants Officer reports to Head of Strategic Partnerships Research Governance & Operations Research Strategy & Services UK
