Duties & Responsibilities
What Youll Be Doing:
Develop calibrate and optimise short-term insurance pricing models
Apply advanced actuarial techniques to ensure competitiveness and profitability
Conduct regular rate reviews and guide product development with actuarial insight
Perform reserving reinsurance and capital modelling for non-life portfolios
Support IFRS 17 implementation and reserving strategies
Analyse underwriting and claims performance to drive business improvements
Present findings and pricing recommendations to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance strategy and execution
What Were Looking For:
Nearly or newly qualified Actuary
3 years actuarial experience in short-term (non-life) insurance with pricing exposure
Strong knowledge of GLMs rate-making and actuarial modelling
Technical skills in Python R SQL or actuarial software (e.g. Emblem ResQ)
Excellent communicator able to explain technical insights to non-technical audiences
Proactive innovative and thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment
