Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver at Western Slope in Home Care. This is a full-time hourly position within the healthcare/medical field located in Steamboat Springs Colorado. As a Caregiver you will be responsible for providing quality care and assistance to our clients in their homes allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time hourly position with a competitive compensation of $17.00- $20.00 per hour paid addition we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance paid time off and retirement savings plan options.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care services to clients such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Assist with household tasks including meal preparation light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and document any changes or concerns in clients condition
- Administer medication and assist with medication management as directed by medical professionals
- Transport clients to and from appointments and errands as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients family members and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver or similar role Not required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
