Data Business Analyst - Remote

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Business Analyst to join our growing this role you will bridge the gap between data and business operationstranslating business needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights. Youll work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities streamline processes and support decision-making through data.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.

• Extract clean and manipulate large datasets using SQL or other tools.

• Develop dashboards reports and KPIs using BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).

• Identify trends anomalies and opportunities in business performance.

• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Present findings and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Support data governance quality assurance and process documentation efforts.

• Participate in the design and optimization of workflows systems and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.

• 2 years of experience in data/business analysis or a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL Excel and one or more BI tools.

• Understanding of databases data modeling and ETL concepts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to translate complex data into simple business terms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python R or other scripting languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift Google BigQuery Snowflake).

• Knowledge of CRM ERP or financial systems (e.g. Salesforce SAP).

• Experience in industry-specific experience e.g. fintech healthcare retail etc..
