We are seeking a skilled IT Field Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management & Technical Support
- Provide IT support for end user devices and Smart Hands and Eyes support for IT systems including hardware POS and software at the primary hospital location and associated sites.
- Address all issues promptly and within SLAs
- Respond to IT service requests and troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide face to face walk up IT support at designated Tech Bar
- Provide IT Support for IMAC and Project IMAC activities. Help with IMAC execution and pre-execution.
- Provide support for VIP users if required.
Collaboration and Training
- Work closely with healthcare staff to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of IT systems software and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for the installation and configuration of new IT equipment and software.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems configurations and procedures.
- Generate reports on system performance incidents and resolutions for management review.
Project Support
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects such as system migrations upgrades and expansions.
Provide technical expertise and support for the integration of new technologies and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelors degree in IT (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers networks hardware and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with non-technical staff.
- Ability to travel to associated cluster sites as needed.
