LDWFs Inland Fisheries Hatchery System is seeking to hire a Biologist Supervisor responsible for exercising supervision and coordination of activities associated with sport fish production across 4 locations; Booker Fowler and Beechwood Fish Hatcheries in Forest Hill Monroe Fish Hatchery in Monroe and Huey P. Long Fish Hatchery in Lacombe. This position is domiciled in Forest Hill Louisiana at the Booker Fowler Fish Hatchery.
A bachelors degree in a biological science marine science environmental science wildlife or fisheries animal science forestry or natural resources plus four years of experience in wildlife or fisheries forestry or environmental science; OR
A non-thesis masters degree in a biological science marine science environmental science wildlife or fisheries animal science forestry or natural resources plus three years of the required specialized experience; OR
A masters degree with a completed thesis or a doctorate in a biological science marine science environmental science wildlife or fisheries animal science forestry or natural resources plus two years of the required specialized experience.

Job Duties:
This is a supervisor position directly involved in field and office activities. The position is responsible for supervising four subordinates and overseeing daily activities associated with freshwater sport fish production and stocking facility and equipment operation and maintenance.
