Job Description
Position: Teaching Assistant
Salary: $250-$300
Reports to: Front office Class Supervisor/Academic Class Supervisor
Responsibilities of the position:
- Supervise and take care on daily operation such as drop-off and pick up times
- Supervise and take care during meal time break and extra activities
- Assist teachers in supervising student behavior in class
- Record student attendance in each period and report to front office class supervisor
- Maintain classroom tidiness and hygiene
- Participate in the school events including promoting school program parent workshop student competitions and awards ceremony
- Participate in school professional development training
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings at the end of each semester
Requirements:
- Hold or currently pursuing Bachelors degree of related field;
- Able to communicate in English at least in a conversational level;
- A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students and teachers;
- Hardworking and self-motivated person honest reliable loyal responsible cool-tempered and a good team player;
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Fast learner and desire to achieve set goals;
- Able to work under pressure and able to work independently.
