Job Description
Location: Bicester Oxfordshire.
Salary: Up to 44000 per year.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 4:30pm.
Benefits: 25 days holiday Bank Holidays 5% pension.
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical skills to join our small friendly team. This is a varied hands-on role working in a cleanroom environment and across our facilities.
What youll be doing:
- Fault-finding and repairing electrical systems (motors inverters panels) with and without diagrams.
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance on pumps bearings valves chains etc.
- Maintaining plant equipment machinery and facilities (HVAC lighting sockets general repairs).
- Occasionally speaking with customers about products coming in for repair.
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers.
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in electrical engineering (preferred).
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Experience working on industrial machinery (manufacturing background ideal).
- Able to work independently with confidence.
- Good communication skills team fit is important.
About the environment:
- Work includes time in an ultra-cleanroom (full suit provided) and general workshop areas.
- Small team: 1 Engineering Manager 2 Service Engineers 2 Plant Engineers.
- We make bespoke products for environmental monitoring and validation of sterilisation processes no heavy or FMCG machinery.
