JOB- Project Manager
LOCATION- Glasgow
TERM- Permanent
SALARYper annum (dependent on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the Energy sector. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in Engineering (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) or be QBE from working in a similar technical role
- Previous experience working in Project Management is beneficial
- Have knowledge and experience with Prince2 or similar management techniques & qualifications
- Be able carry out technical design and read engineering drawings
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Proven success motivating others and successfully managing teams
- Have previous experience working within a similar manufacturing environment
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Project Manager role will involve:
- Project Managing the full lifecycle development of new equipment from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
- Leading a team to ensure the success of various projects
- Taking things from concept to launch
- Helping to develop existing products too
- Liaising with customers clients and upper management as required keeping them up to date with project progress
- Maintaining technical documentation as required
- Offering technical support
- Sourcing and selecting components that are required
