About the role
Lead site HR for a unionized multi-site processing environment. Youll align HR strategy to operations coach leaders and run a disciplined HR function across recruitment employee/labour relations attendance/leave benefits training and compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of HR Generalists; set priorities and standards
Advise managers on policy investigations grievance handling and CBA application
Own full-cycle recruitment and workforce planning for site roles
Oversee attendance/leave management return-to-work and confidential records (HRIS)
Ensure compliance with federal/provincial legislation and OHS standards
Track and report KPIs (hiring turnover attendance engagement); drive process improvement
Qualifications
8 years in HR management including 3 years at HR Director level in a union environment
Strong labour relations experience (grievances investigations CBA interpretation)
HRIS proficiency and comfort with dashboards/reporting
Organized practical communicator who partners well with operations
