Propel & Level Up (PLU) Part-time Assistant

Job Overview

The PROPEL & Level Up (PLU) Part-time Assistant will collaborate with the PLU Program Coordinator to assist in supporting program leads and schools. The role is primarily focused on providing on-the-ground support to teachers helping facilitate logistics and promoting student engagement across school sites.

Roles andResponsibilities

• Support PROPEL and Level Up lead teachers and participating schools by serving as an in person point of contact and resource.
• Conduct site visits to observe and assist teachers and staff during school-day and after-school sessions.
• Provide guidance and assistance with program logistics including supply coordination and scheduling needs.
• Supports STEM learning experiences and communication of technology troubleshooting or functionality needs with the Program Coordinator.
• Communicate effectively with school-based staff and the program team to ensure smooth day-to-day program operations.
• Must be able to lift and transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds as needed to support program implementation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience working with students or in a school-based or education-focused setting.
• Interest or background in STEM education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a team-based environment.
• Reliable organized and responsive to program needs.
• Physical ability to lift carry and transport program materials.

Organizational Relationship

The PROPEL & Level Up (PLU) Part-time Assistant reports to the Coordinator of PROPEL and Level Up and works in collaboration with the existing program team.

Additional Details

This is a part-time non-benefited hourly position. No guarantee of minimum hours.
