Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental health services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking afull-time Telehealth Facilitatorto support ourstate correctional facilitiesacross the state ofIllinois. Starting pay at $30 an hour depending on years of experience.

TheTelehealth Facilitatoris responsible for coordinating and supporting virtual healthcare visits to ensure a smooth positive experience for patients providers and clinical staff. This role serves as the primary point of contact for telehealth session setup troubleshooting and follow-up while ensuring compliance with all privacy and security regulations.

  • Greet and assist patients during telehealth appointments ensuring they are prepared and comfortable using virtual platforms.
  • Set up and test telehealth equipment software and connections prior to scheduled sessions.
  • Provide basic technical support to patients and providers before and during sessions.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling reminders and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of telehealth services.
  • Identify and escalate technical or clinical issues as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and patients on telehealth processes.
  • Assist with collecting and reporting telehealth metrics for quality improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare customer service or technical support role.
  • Proficiency with telecommunication tools video conferencing platforms and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Commitment to patient privacy and professionalism.
