Job Description
Responsibilities*
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD Revit and Sketchup to create detailed architectural drawings
- Develop schematic designs and construction drawings
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure designs meet client requirements and building codes
- Prepare presentations and renderings for client meetings
- Conduct site visits and assist in the evaluation of existing structures
- Incorporate sustainable design principles into architectural plans
- Be open-minded and willing to help with problem-solving the exchange of ideas and working as part of a team to create solutions for challenges presented through the design process.
- Knowledge of current building code standards as they relate to commercial building codes energy codes and other associated codes related to the project at hand.
- Coordinate with project consultants including Civil Structural and PME engineers as required to complete CDs associated with the project at hand.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure projects are delivered to clients on time and accurately.
